所以是甚麼讓我們傾注關心而耽誤？

為何我們還浪費許多時間在憂慮人生 而非活出人生？

每當鐘敲響（*4） 可能有新事物展開

所以也許是時候讓時間流過

不是逝去

只是流過

直至泉水（*5）枯竭
Till the well runs dry

讓它流過吧
Just passing through

註釋：

（1）fashionably late：在非正式場合遲到，可能導致或是為了吸引全場人的目光與注意。

（2）roll back the rate：限制或減少特定安排對速率或等級的影響。結合歌詞，就是「設定的目標與控制感（的壓力與要求）」對自已狀態或是產能的影響。譯為「標準」，因為自己的狀態與產能，我認為也包含對自己的期待。

（3）nickel-and-dime： 因為對於細節、小事過度苛求關注，而一點一滴地耗損某人。
         quarter to two：再15分鐘到2點鐘。形容忙碌中擠出（那短短的15分鐘）去做想做的事。此外，可能是擠出下午可以小休或是半夜應睡的時間，凸顯疲憊忙碌。

（4）chime：時鐘每小時的報時。直翻不好聽，所以換了翻成敲響。不是那種重大喜事發生時才敲響的鐘聲喔！

（5）well：好的、健康的、泉水、井。延伸出的可以有歌詞內提到的生活中的好事物、健康與生命、時間長流。
